Laura’s first episode happened when she was 17.  She would find herself going into non-ordinary states all through her twenties but could manage them.  However, since her hospitalization in her early 30’s and the trauma it caused her, the fear she has of non-ordinary states has increased substantially.  Here she explains how she has come to protect herself.
